As Christians, we look to Scripture as our guide for every area of life. It helps us navigate relationships, work, moral and ethical decisions, finances, and everything in between. Yet over the years, Christians have adopted phrases and interpretations that sound biblical but aren’t actually found in Scripture.

Some familiar verses have been taken out of context or taught in ways that distort what God intended. These misunderstandings can lead to confusion, disappointment, and even cause people to question their faith.
