What would be the response—and subsequent outcome—if Black parents collectively withdrew their academically gifted and athletically talented daughters and sons from Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs), particularly SEC schools such as Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, Louisiana, and Kentucky?

What if those same students enrolled in academically accredited HBCUs and other non-SEC institutions aligned with their parents democratic values, cultural dignity, and social justice?

Lest we forget: HBCUs educated, trained, cultivated, and sent Black athletes to the NFL and other professional sports during an era when segregationists such as George Wallace and Oval Faubus literally stood in the schoolhouse door to block Black students from entering institutions like Alabama and Arkansas.

If Black parents collectively led such a movement today—what would the response be—economically, politically, culturally, and morally?

Perhaps an economic and political earthquake across the SEC nation?
