ST LUKE 12 32

Jesus spoke a timely word to those who rise up each morning to chase what they thought was an opportunity to increase their worth and value according to what they believed. How wrong were they? For a person's worth is not what he or she can physically possess but what possesses them. He said to them and to us it is my Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. What a message of hope if we would understand and stop tolling the Lord said. The sparrow gets up in faith praising God and knowing that the lord will provide for that day. We all need sparrow like faith every single day. As the Lord taught us to pray, Father give me this day my daily bread. I start my day in Love, Faith and Prosperity looking to the hills where my help comes from knowing that the Lord will provide. As an entrepreneur, I learn to walk by faith, in that I could not depend on people to come to find me but for God to send them to me daily. I'll trust in God every day. When I rise for work, I know now that the Lord will provide because the God, I serve delights in giving unto me whatever pertains to the kingdom and this life. The just shall live by faith.

The Bible says fret not thyself because of evil doers for they shall soon be cut off. Many in the land are in distress about the economy, those who are in power, and the signs that point to long term upheaval. And we tend to blame those in power. I remember the words in the book of Daniel which reminds us that the most high God still rules in the kingdom of men. Our job is to pray for them that we may live a quiet and peaceable life. Even if in our hearts we know they are not right and we see the signs that the wicked are in great power spreading themselves and reaping a harvest. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs when the wicked are in power, men hide themselves and when they fall those who have lived right will increase. So, you pray. For there is a reward for the wicked, that reward is EVIL. Now we who are saved don't want to see anyone hurt or endangered. But all the word is right, and something's are just out of our hands. When the wicked receive their reward, then the reward shall turn around and slay them. For the Bible says, EVIL shall slay the wicked. Today be of good courage and remember the righteous judge is still in control.

After Sunday (Pentecost)
Sunday was filled with so much anticipation all over the land. So many flyers, speakers and services, it was a wonderful opportunity to gather and celebrate. But after the flyers and banners, what’s next? The disciples had the same Delima what to do after Pentecost. The simple thing to remember is what Jesus said, ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me in all the world. Not your ministry, not your title or position not your church but unto him. For he said in the book of St John, for when his come, the Holy Ghost, he shall speak of me for he shall received of mine and show you things to come. We should never let our gathering be fashioned towards entertainment, when many come to be healed and delivered from oppression, depression, life’s journeys that have taken a toll on them. That’s why he said “behold I give you power over all the power of the enemy, when did we get this? After Pentecost.
We should have been on our way to fill the great commission but many of hearts were like the disciples who went back fishing and planting. The Lord will add to the church daily such as should be saved but we need power to fulfill the great commission . Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel knowing that he winneth souls is wise. Remember after the banners and flyers and all the things we do to get people in the assembly, we need power to cast out devils to lay hands on the sick so that they might recover. It is this point the Lord is waiting to go with us to fulfill the word. That is truly Pentecostal power.

A Woman that fears the Lord is to be praised.

As we celebrate Mother's Day recognition is to be given to all mothers for their unwavering love and tireless efforts they have given down through the years. Many of our mothers have gone off the scene but their memories linger and today we will long for her cooking, her smile, her voice and her wit and demeanor. Plus, we will look back and remember our own lives and the struggles we had and say within ourselves, you know mama was right. Well truth be told mama was always right, because she was mama, we might not like the discipline, nor her candor, but quietly inside we knew she had our best interest in her heart. When she told us God was in control, she knew it and she wanted us to know it. She feared the Lord, in other words she trusted the Lord. Her goal in life was that we get to the know the God she knew so that when she was no longer on the scene, in her heart, she was confident we would be alright.
I know celebratory acts of motherhood may not be literally in scripture, but Jesus took time out for a moment to remind John, man behold thy mother, mother behold thy son. Today I say to all who have the privilege to look on your mom, do it today, take the moment to remind her and yourself what a joy it is to be in her presence. To those who are like me whose mothers have gone on to be in the presence of the Lord, cherish the memories, make sure you live to see her again. Jesus before he departed told the disciple's we will drink no more of the vine until we sit down in my Father's kingdom. He cherished the day when he would see them again. Cherish the day when you will see mama again.
