¡Te necesitamos! Este año, algunos voluntarios han tenido que dejar de colaborar debido a problemas de salud o necesidades familiares. Si has estado pensando en ayudar en el *Good News Club*, ¡ahora es el momento! Empezar es sencillo; solo tienes que avisar a Katie Dalton o a Jessica Wyatt. Deberás completar un breve formulario en línea. NO es necesario ser miembro de *The Church at West Gantt*, pero sí debes poder redactar un breve testimonio de tu experiencia de salvación, superar una verificación de antecedentes, firmar una declaración de fe confirmando que tus creencias se alinean con las Escrituras y aceptar cumplir con las políticas de protección infantil establecidas por nuestro ministerio colaborador, *Child Evangelism Fellowship*, y por el distrito escolar. Puede parecer complicado, pero en realidad no lo es. ¡Te ayudaremos en todo! Lo más importante es tener un corazón dispuesto y estar dispuesto a escuchar.

You are needed! This year we have had some volunteers who have had to step back from serving, due to health and family needs. If you have been considering helping with Good News Club, now is the time! Getting started is simple. Let Katie Dalton or Jessica Wyatt know. There is a short online form you will need to complete. You do NOT have to be a member of The Church at West Gantt, but do need to be able to write a brief testimony of your salvation experience, clear a background check, sign a statement of faith agreeing that your beliefs align with Scripture, and agree to follow the child protection polices put in place by our sponsoring ministry partner, Child Evangelism Fellowship and the school district. It sounds complicated but it's really not. We will help you with everything! The biggest thing, is a willing heart and a listening ear!

Esta pequeña flor no escogió tierra fértil ni un jardín hermoso; nació en medio del cemento, el asfalto y un estacionamiento. Y aun así, floreció.

Quizás hoy sientes que estás en un lugar difícil, rodeado de circunstancias que parecen impedir tu crecimiento. Pero recuerda: donde otros ven imposibilidad, Dios ve una oportunidad para mostrar Su poder.

Si Dios pudo hacer florecer esta flor en el estacionamiento de Su casa, también puede hacerte florecer a ti en medio de tu dificultad.

“El justo florecerá como la palmera…” — Salmo 92:12

This little flower didn’t choose fertile soil or a beautiful garden; it was born amidst concrete, asphalt, and a parking lot. And yet, it bloomed.

Perhaps today you feel you are in a difficult place, surrounded by circumstances that seem to hinder your growth. But remember: where others see impossibility, God sees an opportunity to display His power.

If God could make this flower bloom in the parking lot of His house, He can also make you bloom in the midst of your hardship.

First round of registrations went out at Meet the Teacher a couple of weeks ago, now registration forms are ready to head out to all the students at Grove! Club starts back on September 15th! Pray for the students who will join us and for the volunteers who will be working with them! And if you're free on Tuesday afternoons and have a willing heart, reach out to Katie Dalton or Jessica Wyatt about helping out! No special training needed to get started, just some light paperwork! Come help us make a difference in the lives of some great kids! They'll always be glad to see you!
