This week, we’re reminded that God can help us thrive where we are - even in places that feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or unfinished.

As we begin the week, name one place where you feel unsettled.
Name one person already there and pray for them.
Then take one small, intentional step to show them the hope and love of Jesus.

You may not be where you expected to be, but that doesn’t mean God can’t use you right where you are.

This Sunday we will begin our new Sermon Series!
1 Peter | Alive in Hope: “Thriving Where We Are” is a journey through 1 Peter for people learning to live faithfully in the places and seasons God has given them. This book’s first audience was exiles and our Living Hope…Jesus…gives us hope to thrive. Being rooted in Jesus' resurrection, we are more than survivors of hard circumstances. We are God’s people - being built together around Christ, shaped by His grace, and sent to make His goodness known where we are through ordinary faithfulness, deep love, humble service, and courageous hope.

As we begin a new week, let’s be reminded that Psalm 67 does not tell us to stop asking God for help - it teaches us to finish the prayer.

Ask God to bless, sustain, provide, give peace, and bring joy - but don’t let the prayer stop there. Ask Him to let His grace shine through your life so that His goodness becomes visible to someone else.

This week, may we pray: “Lord, shape my life so others can see Your grace through me.”

As we begin a new month, let’s be reminded that desperation is not the absence of faith - it is faith refusing to go anywhere but God.

Psalm 86 invites us to bring our worries, needs, and uncertainties honestly before the Lord. We don’t have to have everything figured out to turn to Him. His steadfast love gives us confidence to pray, worship through hardship, and trust Him with what lies ahead.

As we head into a busy week, let’s reflect on Psalm 131 and be reminded that a quiet soul does not come from understanding everything, controlling every circumstance, or accomplishing enough to finally feel secure.

True peace is received when we release our need for control and trust the God who holds everything.
