Dunean Church Love. Connect. Equip. Sunday Worship @ 11AM

05/27/2026

SERVE SATURDAY / June 13th

We need people to help transport items from the storage unit to Dunean Church to sort them so we can help give them to Barry Agnew (South Greenville Community) and Paul Coogle (Dunean Replant), and potentially donate to our church in need. We need two teams to get the job done. We need a team to load items from the Storage Unit, and another team to unload them and organize them at Dunean Church.

Team A
The plan would be to meet at 08:00 AM - Storage Unit
2717 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC 29609
(If anyone has straps to lock down the boxes, that would be helpful.)
We will move items at Unit B18, which is on the outside, and the unit on the inside, H27.
The goal is to have it load in two hours.
Load up trucks 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Team B
Get to Dunean at 10:30 AM
We will have the team members for unloading the truck and organizing the items at the church.
Unload Trucks
Break for the day at 12:30 PM

Big news for the Dunean family!

This past Sunday, our church voted to officially move forward in partnership with Greenville Community Church — and we’re excited for what God is doing.

We’re also thrilled to welcome Paul Coogle as co-pastor alongside Stephen beginning May 31, along with GCC families who may feel led to join the mission at Dunean.

Sunday night, we had nearly 20 adults and 10 children from GCC attend an interest meeting to pray and learn more about what this partnership could look like. Over the next 40 days, these families will be praying, fasting, and seeking the Lord’s direction.

We believe this is a huge step forward for our church as we continue clarifying our mission, vision, and values together.

Please pray with us:
🙏 For Paul and his family
🙏 For families considering joining Dunean
🙏 For wisdom, unity, and faith as we move forward together

We’re grateful for Greenville Community Church and their heart to plant and strengthen churches across our city.

Together on mission.

Due to the heavy snow fall and dangerously low temperatures expected tomorrow morning we have decided to cancel our Sunday morning gathering.

Stay safe, stay warm, check on your neighbors, and enjoy this once in a 3-5 year snow fall!

We can't wait to be back together again soon!

❄️🚨 WEATHER UPDATE: SERVICES CANCELLED 🚨❄️

Church family,

Due to the severe winter weather expected from Saturday through Monday, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our church family, we have decided to cancel our Sunday worship gathering.
This decision was not made lightly. Our desire is always to gather together, but we also believe it is wise to prioritize safety—especially with potentially hazardous travel conditions.
We encourage you to use this Sunday as a time of rest, prayer, and worship at home. Spend time in Scripture, pray for one another, and check in on neighbors who may need help during the storm.
We plan to resume our regular gathering next Sunday, weather permitting, and will communicate any additional updates as needed.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. Please stay safe, stay warm, and know that you are loved.

Grace and peace,
Pastor Stephen

You’re invited to celebrate Christmas Eve with us at 4PM at Dunean Church!

We’ll sing Christmas carols, reflect on the birth of Jesus, and light candles together as we remember that Jesus is the Light of the World!

This will be a family-friendly service, and our kids will even be helping lead us in worship.

We’d love to have you join us!

Dear Church Family,

I am excited to share with you a new opportunity for us to seek the Lord together in prayer. Beginning Sunday, October 5, we will gather each Sunday evening from 6:00–7:00 p.m. in the worship center for a time of prayer. These gatherings will continue weekly through the end of this year, and then we will prayerfully discern how the Lord leads us into 2026.

This will be a very informal time of guided prayer. We will lift up our community, city, and country to the Lord. We will also set aside time to intercede for one another’s needs and burdens.

The heart behind these gatherings is simple: we long to see God move in power. We are asking Him to reach men, women, and children in Dunean and Greenville with the saving hope of Jesus Christ. We are also praying that God would draw many to Himself and also into the fellowship of our church family. At the same time, we want to ask the Lord to prepare us to steward the future salvation and spiritual growth that we trust He will bring!

I want to encourage each of you to make these prayer gatherings a priority. This is not about how eloquent our prayers are but about seeking God together with humility and expectancy.

I’ll also add that these prayer gatherings are open to everyone, not just the members and guests of Dunean Church. So please feel free to invite your family, friends, and neighbors.

I hope you will join us on October 5 as we begin this journey of prayer together.

Together on mission,
Pastor Stephen
