One of the greatest threats to our walk with God isn’t always found in the sins that are easily seen. Sometimes it is found in the things we allow to remain hidden in our hearts.

Bitterness. Unforgiveness. Malice. Offense. A critical spirit. A disgruntled attitude toward others. Backbiting, gossip, and tearing down a brother or sister in Christ.

These things cannot coexist with true revival.

God desires a safe, clean, and holy place to dwell. He desires hearts filled with love, mercy, humility, and forgiveness. When bitterness takes root, it contaminates the atmosphere of our hearts and hinders our relationship with Him.

Bitterness doesn’t always reveal itself through anger. Sometimes it disguises itself as criticism, gossip, backbiting, or constantly finding fault with others. It may feel justified in the moment, but tearing down a brother or sister for any reason is contrary to the spirit of Christ. We are called to build up the body, not divide it.

The truth is, none of us have ever been wronged more than Jesus was. He was betrayed by a friend, falsely accused, mocked, beaten, and crucified. Yet while hanging on the cross, He prayed:

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” — Luke 23:34 (KJV)

How can we refuse to love those who have wronged us or those we disagree with when Jesus loves those who have done far worse to Him?

We cannot be close to God while harboring resentment toward people He loves. We cannot pray for revival while holding on to offense. We cannot expect heaven to be our home if we refuse to forgive, refuse to love, and refuse to let go of bitterness and malice. Regardless of whether you feel justified, God will not make an exception for you to enter into Heaven.

The Lord is looking for a people who will love in every circumstance. Not just when it’s easy, not just when it’s deserved, but because He first loved us.

Today, ask God to search your heart. Is there someone you need to forgive? Is there an offense you’ve been carrying? Is there a brother or sister you’ve spoken against, criticized, or held at arm’s length?

Lay it down.

Because real revival changes us first.

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:” - Ephesians 4:31 (KJV)

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” - Ephesians 4:32 (KJV)

Ministry has never been about building our own kingdom. It has always been about building His. ✨☝🏻

The Lord does not measure ministry the same way people do. People often look at popularity, talents, achievements, or public impact. But God looks deeper. He looks at the motives hidden inside the servant’s heart.

Ministry can become exhausting when we try carrying it with our own strength. Some servants continue pouring into others while secretly feeling empty themselves. Some continue smiling public while privately battling discouragement, insecurity, comparison, burnout, or even spiritual dryness.

But this is also an important reminder to all of us,You are a servant, not the Savior.

Jesus never asked you to carry what only He can carry. Sometimes servants become so busy working for God that they slowly stop spending time with God. Ministry activities replace intimacy. Public service replaces private devotion. But NO MINISTRY can remain healthy if the servant is spiritually starving.

God cares more about your walk with Him than your workload for Him. The Lord is not only concerned about what you do for Him. He is concerned about your heart with Him.

So. To every servant reading this, Ministry is not about you.

Because ministry is not about being important. It is about making Christ known. 🤍

We will be joining Apostolic Gospel Church on Sunday, May 31st for an Apostolic Unity Rally as believers gather together in one mind and one accord in the name of Jesus, standing in prayer and faith for every community represented.

In a world that is divided, the Church must come together in unity, burdened for our cities, our families, and the souls that are still searching for hope.

We are expecting a powerful move of God, and we invite you to come worship with us!

We will still be having Sunday School at 11 am this coming Sunday, then we will be leaving to have church with AGC in lieu of our 12 pm service.

As Bro. Gonçalves preached to us on Sunday, he made something very clear to us all: the enemy is attacking marriages and families.

Our first ministry is our home. Before public ministry, there must be private consecration. Before leading in church, we must lead well in our spirit, our attitude, and our families. No amount of platform, talent, or church involvement can substitute for a healthy home life.

Revival is not measured only by how busy we are in church, but by how surrendered we are to God.

A packed schedule does not replace a prayer life. Constant activity does not replace humility, peace, or repentance.

Scripture teaches that wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated. True spirituality is not just seen in how loudly we worship, but in how deeply we love, how quickly we humble ourselves, and how willingly we make things right.

We cannot have revival in our churches if we do not first have it in our homes.

Love your spouse well. Love your children faithfully. Pray together. Admit when you’re wrong. Apologize humbly. Show respect to all. Unplug from your screens. Clear your calendars every once in a while and just be together. For when we walk in love at home, we are honoring the Lord.

God is not just looking for workers, He is looking for yielded vessels.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a day off, it is a day of honor, remembrance, and gratitude.

We remember the sacrifice of those who laid down their lives so others could live in freedom. May we never take that sacrifice lightly.

“As we remember the fallen, we also pray for their families, for our nation, and for the peace of God to rest upon every heart.”

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)

REVIVAL IN GREENUP 🔥

• 4 filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost
• 1 baptized in Jesus’ name
• Countless renewed in their spirit and touched in their bodies

Jesus showed up today and poured out His Spirit and anointing from start to finish. What we felt in the house today cannot be manufactured, only God can do what He did.

Thank you, Bro. & Sis. Gonçalves, for allowing God to use you so powerfully. We are grateful for your ministry and burden for revival.

What is Pentecost?

It’s the sound of heaven invading earth
It’s fire falling on hungry people
It’s fearful hearts becoming bold witnesses
It’s the birth of the New Testament Church

And after 2,000 years, the message has not changed:

God still fills people with the Holy Ghost!

Join us TODAY as we celebrate the promise, the power, and the presence of God!
