HYMNS

Faith Is the Victory

1) Encamped along the hills of light, Ye Christian soldiers rise, And press the battle
ere the night Shall veil the glowing skies. Against the foe in vales below. Let all our strength be hurled; Faith is the victory, we know, That overcomes the
world.

CHORUS: Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory! O glorious victory, That overcomes the world.

2) His banner over us is love, Our sword the Word of God; We tread the road the
saints above With shouts of triumph trod. By faith they like a whirlwind’s breath, Swept on o’er every field; The faith by which they conquer’d death Is
still our shining shield.
REPEAT CHORUS

3) On every hand the foe we find Drawn up in dread array; Let tents of ease by
left behind, And onward to the fray. Salvation’s helmet on each head, With
truth all girt about; The earth shall tremble ‘neath our tread, And echo with our
shout. REPEAT CHORUS

4) To him that overcomes the foe, White raiment shall be given; Before the angels
he shall know His name confessed in heaven. Then onward from the hills of
light, Our hearts with love aflame; We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night, In Jesus’
conqu’ring name.
REPEAT CHORUS
…………………………..

There Is a Balm in Gilead

CHORUS: There is a balm in Gilead to make the wounded whole; There is a balm
in Gilead to heal the sin-sick soul.

1) Sometimes I feel discouraged, And think my work’s in vain, But the Holy
Spirit Revives my soul again. REPEAT CHORUS

2) If you can’t preach like Peter, If you can’t pray like Paul, Just tell the love of Jesus, And say He died for all.
REPEAT CHORUS

Romans 6:3-4 Bro Bren
3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
