As stated previously, Jesus had no rebuke for the church at Philadelphia. He commends them for keeping His word, not denying His name and persevering through severe persecution from both Jews and gentiles. Because of their obedience and steadfast faith, Jesus now promises to keep them from the hour of trial, “The Great Tribulation” - The 7 year period of intense distress brought on the world by the wrath of God. Jesus promises to remove the church - The Rapture.

We are excited to offer a Children's Christian Book Sharing Library located in the Children's Entrance at Calvary Chapel Westmoreland!

This is a simple and wonderful way to encourage our children to grow in their faith through Christ-centered books.

📖 Bring a book.
📖 Take a book.
📖 Read together as a family.

If your child has outgrown a favorite Christian book, consider sharing it with another family. Likewise, feel free to browse the library and take a book home to enjoy together.

Reading biblical stories and Christian teachings with our children helps plant seeds of faith that can last a lifetime.

The church of Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13) was encouraged by the Lord, the One who sees all things. He saw their perseverance and faithfulness to His Name, acknowledging that they had "a little strength". They did not deny the name of Jesus. With that, is great reward. This world offers many temptations and temporary pleasures, but as we heard in Sunday's message, "Only one life, 'twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last." (C.T. Studd). A great hour of trial is still coming upon the earth. Where will be stand?

A big thank you to Anthony DeRubeis of Special Tasks Group Training () for providing CPR, AED, and First Aid training for 10 members of our Calvary Chapel family!

Representing our Security Team, Children's Ministry, Leadership, and Administrative Staff, these volunteers invested their time to be better prepared to serve and care for others. We are grateful for their commitment to safety and stewardship as they help make our church a place where people can worship, learn, and grow with confidence.
