Shabbat Shalom!
Gen 26:5 because Aḇraham obeyed My voice and guarded My Charge: My commands, My laws, and My Torot.”(a) Footnote: (a)Torot - plural of Torah, teaching. (TS2009)
Mainstream "Christianity" (which is actually Mystery Babylon of Rev. 17-18) teaches that obeying "the law" (the Father's Torah) does not apply to Gentile believers. They say, "Jesus did it so we don't have to", not realizing they're using "grace" as a license to sin. 1Jn 3:4 Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah—indeed, sin is violation of Torah. (CJB)
The phrase "My laws" ("My Torah") is found throughout the Scriptures and the above verse shows that it was in effect before the time of Abraham. It was codified at Sinai as the first covenant with Israel. Jer. 31 details how it is to be written on our hearts by the Father in the New Covenant.
The New Covenant is made with Judah and Israel. It is not made with a Roman rooted Gentile church. Only those who are part of believing Israel are in the New Covenant. Believing Israel is made up of Jews and grafted-in Gentiles, both groups who put their trust in Messiah Yeshua. Believing Israel keeps the commandments of YAH and the testimony of Yeshua (Rev.14:12).
Proof that believers are to live a Torah obedient lifestyle is found here: Eze 36:26 “And I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. And I shall take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I shall give you a heart of flesh,
Eze 36:27 and put My Spirit within you. And I shall cause you to walk in My laws and guard My right-rulings and shall do them. (TS2009)
and here: Isa 66:23 “And it shall be that from New moon to New moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares יהוה. (TS2009)
Those being taught that Torah obedience is not necessary or that "the law was nailed to the cross" are on the path to Mat. 7:23 because they are working lawlessness. Mat 7:23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness! (TS2009)
Mat 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. (TS2009) The desire of the Father is obedience to His Word (Torah/Yeshua).
Isa 5:7 For the vineyard of יהוה of hosts is the house of Yisra’ěl, and the man of Yehuḏah is His pleasant plant. He looked for right-ruling, but see, oppression; for righteousness, but see, weeping. (TS2009) Obedience to Torah is righteousness.
2Th 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
2Th 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood,
2Th 2:12 in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness. (TS2009)
