Our Sunday School classes return this week after summer break!

If you're new to Sunday School at College Park, there's something for everyone; come give it a try! Classes meet between the two services, from 9:40-10:35am and are a great way to plug in and make connections as we learn together. As you can see, sometimes Michael ventures downstairs to teach the kids about bees!

For children (on the bottom floor):
Birth to 3: in the nursery (room 106)
PK and K:
1st and 2nd graders
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders

For youth (in the rooms off the fellowship hall downstairs):
Middle schoolers
High schoolers

For adults:
The Gospel of John (third floor from 9:45-10:25am, to allow choir members to be on time for warm-ups)
God's Bookies: Reading The Harlot by the Side of the Road by Jonathan Kirsch (third floor)
Generations: a multi-generational class using The Present Word (main floor, across from the chapel)

We hope you will join us for worship on Sunday!

Michael Usey will preach on Isaiah 65:17-25 entitled, “Defying Gravity.” Our contemporary Tessera service is at 8:30am in the Chapel, and our more traditional Mosaic service is at 10:45am in the Chapel for the summer. Childcare is available during the services for children in kindergarten and younger.

Our traditional Sunday School classes have taken a break for the summer but will return September 13th.

Our annual St. Francis Animal Blessing will take place on October 3rd at 10am in our backyard. Plan to bring your furry, scaly, winged companions for this fun event. Stuffies are also welcome!

This year, our St. Francis preparation will be on Wednesday nights in September! Kids PreK and up are welcome to sign up to join us on September 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 6-7pm. We will spend time learning about St. Francis and animal blessings, write our liturgy and prayers, and learn a song. It is our hope that children who sign up to help will be present on October 3rd at 10am to help lead the service. College Park loves women's sports! We are planning an outing to see the NC Courage play the NY/NJ Gotham, last year's reigning champions. This is a great activity for families and if we have a large enough group, we will have the option for children to participate in the spirit tunnel or have photos on the field at halftime.
