“Preventing Is Better Than Curing”

Series Theme Scripture: Proverbs 27:12 ESV — “The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it..”

Series Purpose

Many of the problems we pray for God to deliver us out of can be avoided if we allow God to direct us before we get into them.

We often celebrate the God who can cure, restore, repair, and rescue and we should. But Scripture also introduces us to a God who:

* Warns us before danger.
* Gives wisdom before decisions.
* Convicts us before compromise.
* Provides boundaries before brokenness.
* Gives instruction before destruction.

The principle for this series is:
“Sometimes the greatest miracle isn’t God getting you out of something; it’s God keeping you from ever getting into it.”
