Paul teaches us that there are two competing mindsets: the mind governed by the flesh and the mind governed by the Spirit. Whichever one has your mind will eventually influence your direction, your decisions, and your life!

Tonight we’re digging into:

🔥 Sanctification — how God changes us after He saves us
🔥 Flesh vs. Spirit — understanding the battle within
🔥 Spiritual Formation — how our minds are shaped by what we continually give ourselves to

You cannot consistently think one way and expect to live another way.

Stop Feeding The Ox!”

It does us no good to ask God to destroy the yoke if we’re going to keep feeding the ox.

The yoke doesn’t move by itself—the ox pulls it. If you keep feeding the very thing that carried your bo***ge, it won’t be long before you’re yoked up again.

That’s why when Elisha answered God’s call, he didn’t just walk away from his old life. The Bible says he burned the plowing equipment and killed the oxen (1 Kings 19:21).

He destroyed what had the power to pull him back.

Some of us want freedom, but we’re still feeding old habits, toxic relationships, fleshly desires, and unhealthy mindsets. Then we wonder why we keep ending up in the same place.

If you really want to be free, don’t just pray for God to break the yoke. Stop feeding the ox.

Burn it. Kill it. Leave no path back.

Because what you continue to feed will eventually begin pulling you again.
