Today, we pause to remember Lamont Harmon and Takera Knowles. Their smiles, their faith, and the love they gave so freely will always hold a special place in the heart of New Jerusalem Cathedral.

Their presence is deeply missed, but the impact of their lives remains. We thank God for every moment, every memory, and every life they touched. Today and always, we remember Lamont and Takera with honor, gratitude, and love.

Don’t miss a single moment of Holy Convocation 2026. We are only two days away from Opening Sunday, and the anticipation is building.

Holy Convocation opens Sunday, September 6, with services at 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 6:00 PM. We will then return Tuesday, September 8, and continue through Friday, September 11, with services nightly at 7:00 PM.

Saturday, September 12, will feature Ministers’ and Deacons at 8am and Open Heaven Baptism 10am. We will return Sunday, September 13, for the closing services, the Official Address from our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Dr. Kevin A. Williams, and The Jerusalem Gathering at 5:00 PM.

Unity is more than standing together. It is the intentional alignment of vision, leadership, service, and purpose for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Congratulations to Bishop Dr. Kevin A. Williams and Anissa Matthews on being featured in Huami Magazine. This moment represents the strength of connection between New Jerusalem Cathedral and Monument of Praise Ministries. Through Bishop Williams’ visionary leadership and Anissa’s excellence in administration at MOP, we see how every role works together to carry the vision beyond the walls of the church and into the community.

This feature is not only a celebration of two individuals. It is a powerful reflection of what becomes possible when ministry operates as one team, with one heart and one Kingdom purpose. We honor the legacy, strengthen unity, and continue advancing the Kingdom together.

Tyneshia Knowles is bringing the latest Crown Report as we prepare for Holy Convocation 2026. From Open Heaven Baptism Saturday 12th at 10am and The Jerusalem Gathering fellowship dinner Sunday 13th at 5pm, to a full week of powerful worship, preaching, and fellowship, there is so much ahead of us.

Opening Sunday begins September 6, and Holy Convocation continues September 8 through September 13. The countdown is moving quickly, so register today and prepare to experience “Beyond What We’ve Seen.”

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no service this week.

As we prepare for Holy Convocation 50+1, please take note that Monday Night Bible Study on August 31 and Thursday Night Service on September 3 are cancelled.

We’ll come back together Sunday, September 6 for the Opening Sunday of 50+1 Holy Convocation, “Beyond What We’ve Seen.”
