As Greensboro celebrates PRIDE, UMOJA CHURCH proudly stands with our q***r and trans kindred.
We are committed to being a place of refuge, belonging, worship, and community for those who have too often been excluded, rejected, or harmed by faith spaces.
Jesus compels us to love God and love our neighbor:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind… You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:37–39
At UMOJA, inclusion is not an exception to our faith. It is part of how we live it.
We will continue working to become the kind of church our motto calls us to be:
UMOJA CHURCH: “Where we love God and all God’s People!!!”
