Midweek returns this Wednesday, September 9 with offerings for all ages! We will start the evening off in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30 pm for dinner, which will be available until 6:15 pm. Our first meal to kick things off is Taco Mama!

Please reserve your meal in by end of day each Monday to help us minimize food waste. To reserve your Midweek meal, you can go to: fbcgso.org/midweek-returns-2026 or sign-up in the Realm app. If you have any questions or prefer to reserve your meal another way, please contact Keighley Johnson ([email protected]). Dietary needs are taken into consideration; just let us know if you have any when you register.

Join us for a Parent Social at Joymongers Brewing on Sunday evening, September 13, from 4–6 pm! Joymongers is close to the church, and we will provide childcare from 3:45–6:15 pm. You can drop your kiddos off at the church with our background-checked childcare providers, and youth will have Sunday evening programming to take part in. If your child(ren) plan to participate in the provided childcare, please sign up by emailing [email protected], so we can plan accordingly. We're looking forward to a casual evening together!

Adult Sunday school classes resume from a summer break on Sunday, September 13! We have a new class starting called "The Table” that will be taught by Cathy & Buck Cochran, Megan & Jimmy Kesler, and Stephen Willis. Like coming around a table to share in important talks about life, this class is an opportunity to build community with others while having encouragement for this shared season of life. Discussions will use scripture to consider how our faith can be practically applied to parenting and much more. 

This class is for parents of all ages. We hope you'll bring your children or youth to Sunday School and join others at The Table.

We welcome Grace Hirth as the newest member of First Baptist Greensboro! Grace is an 8th grader at Kiser and the daughter of Bob Hirth and Lindsay Hirth. She has been part of our church family through our youth group, including attending our Youth Summer Mission Trip to New York City. Grace joins by a profession of faith, and has asked to be baptized. We celebrate Grace's decision and welcome her joyfully to our church!

Midweek returns next Wednesday, September 9 with offerings for all ages! We will have 3 new adult offerings with the themes of Politics, Parenting, & Plants, along with programming for children and youth. Learn more about our new classes at: fbcgso.org/midweek-returns-2026

We start the evening off in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30 pm for dinner, which will be available until 6:15 pm. At 6 pm, children will head up to the Children’s Wing for Music and discovery, and youth will head to the youth room for games! Adult classes start at 6:15 pm. Sanctuary Choir will have rehearsals at 7:15 pm in the choir room.

It's Rise & Shine Pop-Up Market day! Come on by the church parking lot from 10 am to 1 pm for sweet treats, coffee, farm produce, and handmade fiber art from our friends at Peacehaven. This pop-up is part of the Rise & Shine program held at First Baptist Greensboro, which helps adults with disabilities build skills, confidence, and meaningful work in our community.
