30 YEARS LATER… A GUILTY VERDICT IN THE MURDER OF TUPAC SHAKUR.

And immediately something hit my spirit:

I don’t care how long you waited.
It’s not too late.

Somebody has been looking at the calendar thinking too much time has passed.

You thought because it didn’t happen quickly, it wasn’t going to happen at all.

But 30 years later, a case an entire generation thought might never see resolution just reached a verdict.

Hear me:

Delay does not automatically mean denial.

Time does not cancel what has your name on it.

You may have waited 3 years.
10 years.
20 years.

But God is not intimidated by how long it’s been.

Abraham waited.
Joseph waited.
David waited.

And when the appointed time came, the years behind them could not stop what was in front of them.

I don’t know who needed this tonight…

But stop burying what you prayed for just because it took longer than you expected.

It’s not too late.

Your story may still have another chapter.

Prayers for Kehlani after her hospital visit.

But something she said was so prophetic, I couldn’t help but think...

She said she does everything she’s supposed to do to take care of herself...

and still realized her health isn’t guaranteed.

That stopped me.

Because we have quietly convinced ourselves that doing everything right means nothing can go wrong.

But Scripture tells a different story.

Daniel did right and still met lions.

The disciples obeyed Jesus and still encountered a storm.

Paul followed his assignment and still experienced shipwreck.

Maybe doing everything right doesn’t mean you’ll never face trouble.

Maybe it means trouble doesn’t get the final word.

You can pray and still have a hard day.

You can obey God and still encounter resistance.

You can take care of yourself and still discover how fragile life really is.

And sometimes God allows moments that remind us...

We were never being held together by our routines alone.

We were being held by GRACE.

Praying for Kehlani’s complete recovery and everyone who woke up today realizing just how precious another day really is.

I’m a Christian who has made choices I knew didn’t honor God.
I’m a Christian who has chased success, recognition, money, influence, and the approval of people.
I’m a Christian who has had seasons where I wanted God’s blessings more than I wanted God’s presence.
I’m a Christian who has preached faith while privately wrestling with fear.
I’m a Christian who has made excuses for things God was trying to deliver me from.
I’m a Christian who has known Scripture, preached Scripture, believed Scripture... and still had moments when I chose Brandon’s way over God’s way.
I’ve been homeless.
I’ve been broken.
I’ve experienced loss.
I’ve watched things I thought would last forever fall apart.
I’ve had moments when I didn’t know how I was going to feed my children, pay a bill, or make it to the next opportunity.
And I’ve also watched God send provision from places I never expected.
So no, I’m not a Christian because I have always gotten it right.
I’m a Christian because when I was wrong, Jesus was still right.
When I wandered, He came looking for me.
When I was guilty, He forgave me.
When I was empty, He filled me.
When I was broken, He kept putting me back together.
When I couldn't see a way, He kept proving that He had already made one.
I am living proof that grace is not a reward for perfect people. Grace is the reason imperfect people can become new people.
I’m not the man I used to be.
I’m not yet the man I’m going to be.
But by the grace of God, I am becoming the man He created me to be.
And after everything I’ve survived, everything I’ve lost, everything I’ve gotten wrong, and everything He has brought me through...
I’m still chasing God.
Not because I’m perfect.
Because I know what it feels like to be found. ❤️

Hayden Panettiere dying at only 36 made me read something Jesus said completely differently...

10 million people are searching Hayden’s name today. Millions know her name, and recognize her face. Mark 8:36 dropped in my spirit. “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Take me in love. I’m not saying Hayden lost her soul. I’m saying Jesus wasn’t talking about Hayden.

He was talking about US.

We are living in an age where being SEEN has become more important than being WHOLE.

If going viral could bring us back to life, today we would be witnessing a miracle. Only what we do for Christ will last.

That’s a question for me. That’s a question for you.
