Title: “He's A Good Father”
The way the father received his prodigal son is the way that God receives us. A good father will
Allow you to make a mistake - learn a lesson. In this relationship, between father and the son - the son walked away from his father. The good Father did not put up a fight. He takes the opportunity to give us options. Never forces us to do right. Allows us to go and find out for ourselves.
1. A good father releases his son; so son couid go find out what life is all about;
2. Good father will receive you back.
3. Good father will redress you. Good father will put the robe back on; put the ring back on you. He will clothe you with his love.
4. Good father will rearrange your life. A good father shows up and prepares for you.
Enemy wants you to walk away from God. The enemy wants you to turn your back on God. The enemy wants you to throw in the towel.
Our GOD is a good Father. He forgives us. He does not bring up the past. When we return to our Father, He welcomes us with open arms. He dusts the smell of the world off of us and fills us with the sweet smelling aroma of our Father.
No matter what mistakes you’ve made - our Father does not want you out there. He is a good Father. He has not forgotten about us.
When the father saw the son afar off - even we walk away; wHen we think
we are hiding — a good father still sees us. He waits patiently on us.
When life gets rough, back against the wall — we want to run back to our father. A good father will be right there - not pointing his finger and reminding you of everything you did wrong. If you ask for forgiveness — oh HE is a good Father. He will forgive you and say Welcome Home!!
