There will be a memorial service for Melvie Solomon on Saturday, March 14 at 11am in the sanctuary. Visitation will precede the service in the fellowship hall beginning at 10am. Melvie was a faithful and dedicated member at Glenwood for many years and she will be greatly missed!

Our former choir director, Avis Ridenhour, passed away on February 8. A memorial service will be held today, February 21, at 2pm at Oak Ridge Presbyterian church. We’re thankful for the years she spent with us at Glenwood and send prayers to her family!

A celebration of life service will be held for Bill Beasley on Saturday, February 7 at 12pm in the sanctuary. There will be visitation with the family prior to the service in the fellowship hall, beginning at 11am. Bill wore many hats at Glenwood and was a lifelong member! He will be greatly missed!

Due to the snow storm, worship service on Sunday 2/1 is cancelled. We hope everyone stays safe and warm and we hope to see you next week. We pray that God reaches out to us in different ways this coming week and may we continue to be God’s witnesses and examples in our daily lives!

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, worship service for this Sunday 1/25/26 is cancelled. We are sending prayers to everyone in the area to stay safe during this winter storm!

Also- Happy 95th Birthday to Bill Beasley today! He has been a lifetime member of Glenwood Presbyterian. Bill has served in so many vital roles and was always an important part of the church’s upkeep and building projects. Please send prayers for comfort to Bill!

Due to inclement weather, sickness and some other factors, we will not be having our usual worship service today at 11:00 on 1/18. We will be back next week on 1/25 and hope to see you there!

God will still be with us and we pray that God’s touch will give healing and peace to everyone!
