What do you do when the enemy feels ten feet tall and your faith feels small? In this powerful message from 1 Samuel 17, we look beyond the familiar “David and Goliath” story to ask a deeper question: why was the giant there in the first place—and what does that reveal about the battles we’re facing today?

This sermon exposes how “foot soldiers” of compromise, fear, and half-hearted surrender quietly invade our lives long before the giant shows up. It calls us back to consistent worship, wholehearted repentance, and standing as watchmen and watchwomen on the wall. You’ll be challenged to move from merely recovering what’s been lost to rescuing what the enemy is trying to steal, especially in your family and your mind.

If you’ve ever felt like your situation is a hopeless cause, this word will remind you that with God, it’s only a so‑called hopeless cause. Come hear how God uses overlooked people, hidden seasons, and small acts of obedience to push the enemy back and reopen the way into His presence.

What do you do when the battle in front of you looks impossible?

In this message, “The So-Called Hopeless Cause,” we revisit David and Goliath—not as a children’s story, but as a picture of how God steps into our most intimidating, “no way out” moments. We explore how the enemy uses fear, shame, and relentless pressure to wear you down, and why your history with God is the key to facing today’s giant. You’ll see how “hidden” seasons and private victories prepare you for public breakthrough, and why you are *not* a lost cause, no matter how long the battle has raged.

If you’ve been feeling outmatched, overlooked, or one step from giving up, this message will call you back to who you really are in God and remind you: the same God who delivered you before will deliver you again.

Watch now and see how “hopeless” causes fall in Jesus’ name.

What if your prayer life were as strong as Daniel’s?

This NextGen Sunday at Bridge of Hope, we’re looking at Daniel and “The Prayer Muscle” — how an ordinary person built an extraordinary life of courage, consistency, and faith long before the lions’ den.

We’ll talk about why big, public faith is built in small, private moments with God, how to help kids and students stand strong in a culture that pressures them to fit in, and simple, practical ways families can grow a daily prayer habit together.

This message is for parents, kids, teens, and anyone who wants a faith that holds up under pressure.

Watch “The Prayer Muscle” and discover how God can use your everyday prayers to shape the next generation — and you.

What an AMAZING day at NCYM Connect at Carowinds!

Our students had an unforgettable time riding rides, laughing together, making memories, and connecting with youth groups from across the state. There is something powerful about seeing students worship, fellowship, and build friendships with other young people who love God and love community.

We are so thankful for every student, leader, and volunteer who helped make this trip possible. Days like this remind us that youth ministry is about more than events — it’s about relationships, connection, and creating moments students will never forget.

Bridge of Hope Youth showed up BIG and we already can’t wait for the next adventure!

Pentecost isn’t just a story from the past—it’s a fire we still desperately need today. In this heartfelt, tag–team message on “We Still Need the Fire,” Pastors Z and Romeika unpack who the Holy Spirit really is: not an optional extra or a spooky add-on, but the empowering presence of God for everyday life. From Gen Z to seasoned saints, they gently confront our comfort zones, talk honestly about surrender, obedience, and “plenty cost” before Pentecost, and share real-life testimonies of how the Spirit leads, hovers, prepares, and provides. You’ll hear about the sound that precedes a move of God, the wind that revives dry bones, and the invitation to move from mere belief to being truly filled.

If you’re hungry for more of God, wrestling with His call, or just wondering what the Holy Spirit has to do with your Monday morning, this message will stir your faith and call you to live again.

May Men’s fellowship at BOH was this past Saturday and we can’t wait for the next! This is a reminder that you don’t have to do life alone.
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬-‭10‬, ‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
