Centenary United Methodist Church of Greensboro

As many of you know, Centenary UMC closed it's doors for the final time in late Dec, 2024.

It was, and still is, a time of sadness, but also joy. We pray for all who were members of our congregation. Some now worship at Irving Park UMC and some at Newlyn Street UMC. Both of those can be found on Facebook.

We also pray for our former pastor, Rev Kelley Groce, as she begins leading her new church, First UMC North Wilkesboro this Sunday, July 13. They can also be found on Facebook.

We are extremely grateful for all who have led Centenary through the years, along with the many members who served in leadership positions or simply volunteers looking to be the hands and feet of Christ in the many opportunities for service and ministry that the church participated in.

We will be closing this page on August 1.

We pray God's blessings on each and every one of you.

Centenary UMC has merged with another church. These items are in the middle court of the church between the Fellowship hall and the Educational building.
These items need some washing and tlc.
They are Free to those who will allow a child to find joy!

Rev. Kelley Groce also serves and preaches at Newlyn Street UMC. They have a page and do have their worship at 9:30 on Sundays live on Facebook on their Page.

We hope you will continue to worship with us on line at either church.
