Today is Good Friday. Jesus died on the cross almost 2000 years ago today. There is a cross outside of First Baptist Church in Greensboro. There has been a royal purple cloth draped on the cross until today. It has been changed to a black cloth symbolizing Jesus's death.
We will have a sunrise service at 7 o'clock on Easter Sunday morning. Just prior to that service we will change the cloth to white symbolizing Jesus's resurrection.
Thank God today that he was willing to give his Son to pay for your sins. Thank God today that Jesus was willing to die on that cross for your sins. Praise God with us on Easter Sunday morning, as we remember that Jesus was raised from the dead.
