the Bible says without a vision people perish. This means if we want to experience the life of God we need to learn how to receive His vision for our lives.

Join us this weekend as Pastor Brian begins a brand new series on Vision. He will teach you how to hear God's voice and receive His vision for your life!

Jesus is the only king I know who will wash one of His servants feet!

The question is, will you let Him?

Hebrews 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Patiently endured - makrothyméō, mak-roth-oo-meh'-o; from the same as G3116; to be long-spirited, i.e. (objectively) forbearing or (subjectively) patient:—bear (suffer) long, be longsuffering, have (long) patience, be patient, patiently

The Greek word for patiently endure means long spirited. Patience is a fruit of the spirit, not a work of the flesh. When you lack patience, pray in the spirit.

Praying from desperation seems highly noble, but really isn’t praying in faith as God is never desperate.

Pray from His presence as you are seated on heavenly places and desperation will turn to hope!

Genesis 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

What an awesome passage of scripture! God told Abraham to walk before Him and be blameless. He didn't say to be sinless. That would have been impossible anyway because Abraham had already committed multiple sins that are recorded in scripture. The key to walking blameless before God even when you have sinned is receiving God's righteousness by faith.

Romans 4:3 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

According to Deuteronomy 1:2 the children of Israel only had an 11 day journey to get to the promised land and yet it took them 40 years. The major reason for the delayed breakthrough was complaining in their hearts.

If we want to receive the promises of God and avoid unnecessary delays it's important that we make a choice to rejoice. We rejoice in His word and in His nature. Complaining is an affront to the nature of God, because it essentially says, "You aren't very good. You did this to me and you are going to leave me here." This is what Israel did constantly for 40 years.

A heart of faith celebrates God's goodness and His nature to deliver us from difficult situations. It takes the focus off the situation and puts it back on His word and His character.

Focus on God's goodness and character today. Then focus on His word, which He watches over to perform for those who have a heart of faith!

Mix faith with His promise and you will receive!
