ATTN: Single Adults
NEW fellowship and bible study starting at Lawndale Baptist Church. Kickoff night - Jan 16th. This will be a time to fellowship and get to know one another while we enjoy snacks and fun. We will end the night with a brief introduction to the eight week study that will start the following week. Please message us ([email protected]) with questions or for more information - if you are a single adult that would like to get involved or maybe you know a single adult that needs a place to connect, learn and grow. Studies will take place every Wednesday night and will intentionally minister to the single adult and the challenges that we face in our journey. Hope to hear from you:)

Please note this is shared from Catherine Wood with regard to the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center Walk for Life.

The Walk for Life sign up is now available. Our team name is One in Purpose Lawndale Singles. Go to www.gsocarecenter.org and on the right side of the page is the menu. Click the Walk to Life link and it will take you the the Walk page. Register to Fundraise and sign up with our Team. After that you can personalize your walk page and share it with your friends and family to raise money for the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center.

Remember the important part of the walk is not whether you can participate on April 29th and walk a couple of blocks around the city, it is to raise money and awareness for the center. The goal this year is $150,000 and we can make a difference. It takes $1,200 to walk a mother through the process of choosing life for her unborn child. Wouldn’t if be wonderful if we as a team could support at least one mother! So no matter if you can be there to walk or just want to help spread the awesome message of the care center, please consider joining our walk team and raising money and awareness to the center.

Class, let's help "fill the truck". A practical way we can all help the Hurricane Harvey victims. See donation items, drop off places for collections this week. Many churches, local businesses and high school football teams are assisting with this effort. Please share and spread the word!
