Hey fellow Triad Tech Directors, I wanted to make you aware of this in the event you may be in the need for an HDMI Video Switcher.

I think we had this in service for maybe 2-3 months before we made the move to Alpha Keying for Pro Presenter and required a new switcher. Thus we've had this on the shelf for many months now thinking it would go to Kid's Worship. But that hasn't happened. So, could any of you guys use one of these? It's a great little unit! We have some great and news, and a real treat in store for our upcoming meeting this Thursday at Westover Church.

Danny Slaughter had already scheduled a demo for the afternoon of May 26th, with Jeremiah Clever of Waves Audio of the new LV1, their new live sound virtual mixer. Danny asked he could do it earlier in the day when the group would be there for our meeting, to which he agreed. I am super excited to see this as I have heard of it, and watched a few videos online.

Thanks Danny for sharing this with the group!

Hello Fellow Techies,

For the Production Small Group for the month of May, we are going to meet at Westover Church in Greensboro on May 26 from 10 a.m. - noon.

If you can respond back with whether or not you will be able to attend, that will help us plan. Danny at Westover will be gracious enough to give us a tour and answer any questions about their setup. We will also spend some time sharing and praying. I hope everyone can make it!

If you know anyone who wasn't at the last meeting that might enjoy meeting with us from time to time, invite them!

Hi folks, My name is Robert Koonts and I am the Technical Director for Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro. It's been a while since many of us utilized this group, so I wanted to say hello and share that several technical and creative directors have started meeting again, in fact today was our first meeting and HopeCity was our host. (Thanks Jared Bowman!)

We decided today to also start up a page for the group but remembered that Chris Cary had built this group several years ago so we asked him if we could leverage it, and he kindly offered to turn it over to us. (Thanks Chris!)

Anyway here is an initial post to let you all know that we are here! We hope to see more activity and meetings every couple months. Danny Slaughter Technical Director at Westover has agreed to host our next meeting in May and I can host the July meeting at Mercy Hill.

Please stay tuned for details/dates on these events, and please feel free to start conversations and share photos of your facilities!

Also, if you know of colleagues in locals churches please feel free to invite them to this group!
