God commands the blessing over all of His children.

"God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Behold, I have received a command to bless;
He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it."

(Numbers 23:19-20, NKJV)

We get the blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They will come upon us and overtake us.

We also have spiritual blessings and an inheritance in Christ.

We are already blessed through Jesus Christ and the cross.

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (John 19:30, NKJV)

"You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it." (John 8:44, NKJV)

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy." (John 10:10a, NKJV)

People who lie, steal, destroy, and kill show signs of participating with Satan, the devil, the thief, the enemy of souls. Unfortunately, there are people within the body of Christ whom I have observed and experienced somewhat in my own life --- their lies, theft, and fraud. They do not bear the fruit which comes from abiding on the true vine. (Read John 15:1-8)

God tells us in His word that we will know people by their fruit. He wants every person to bear a lot of fruit and be Jesus' disciples. God desires to be honored and glorified by all people within the body of Jesus Christ.

"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10b, NKJV)

Jesus came to literally save every person in the world. (See John 3:16-17; Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:8-10) He also wants every person to not only have life but have more abundance.

God desires that we be prosperous in everything and in every way.

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 2, NKJV)

Our Father shares the way to begin the journey which consists of His word.

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” (Matthew 4:4, NKJV)

Our good Father also tells us more about the way to be prosperous and successful.

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8, NKJV)
