WVICC Sports and Recreation Ministry 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Walk like a Champion, Be like a Champion, LIVE like a Champion!

Purpose:
• To build a healthy, non-threatening port of entry for both our church and sports community.
• To provide the framework of training and encouragement for athletes and non-athletes already involved in the church. To teach Christian values, build Christian character and develop specific skills in the sports and recreation area.
• To demonstrate that our worship extends to the ways in which

we play and enjoy our sports and recreational activities.
• To provide a focused outreach to the athletes, coaches and other residents who live and work in our area.
