✨Soprano Spotlight - Aug. 2⏰10am
✨ Get ready for an unforgettable morning because the incredible Mary Schneider, Soprano, will be singing the anthem this Sunday, August 2! 🎶🎤Mary’s lifelong musical journey started all the way back in 1st grade on the piano. By 4th grade, she had picked up the guitar and flute, and she even added the tuba to her repertoire in 6th grade! She went on to study Music Therapy at East Carolina University, mastering the tuba as her primary instrument while diving deep into piano, guitar, and voice classes.

Professionally, Mary brings healing and harmony to the triad community as a Music Therapist with Magnolia Melodies Music Therapy. Serving as their mental and behavioral health specialist, she works wonders with older adults in nursing homes, memory care units, and day treatment programs for adults with developmental disabilities.Personally, playing music is Mary's ultimate way to unwind, bringing her deep peace and joy—especially when she is learning how to play a brand-new Taylor Swift song! 🎸

COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATE🌻

🍅 Look at that bounty! Our church community garden has been working overtime, and the results are truly fruitful!

This week's harvest brought in a fantastic 38 lbs. of fresh produce. When you add that to last week’s massive donation of 56.6 lbs., our grand total for just the last two weeks of July is an incredible 94.6 lbs. of locally grown goodness heading straight to those who need it most!

Just look at this colorful spread: fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes, crisp peppers, vibrant zucchini, sunny yellow squash, and crunchy cucumbers!

A huge thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who dig in the dirt, pull the weeds, and water these crops with love every single week. 🥒🫑🌽🍅

Help local students start the school year confident, prepared, and equipped for success by participating in our annual Stuff the Bus campaign!
Pick up a supply list from the narthex today to provide essential school supplies or a brand-new backpack for one of our Homework Helper students.,
Every child deserves to walk into their classroom with the tools they need to thrive, relieving financial stress for families and leveling the playing field.
Please return all donated items to the designated drop-off location by Friday, August 14.,
Please note that any extra supplies collected will be generously passed along to Backpack Beginnings to further support children in need.
Together, we can fill backpacks, support local educators, and fuel futures in our community! 📚
