Three weeks from today, our Trans, Nonbinary Advocacy Team will have the privilege of hosting Artie Hartsell, MSW--an experienced strategist and coalition builder--for a training that will bring us up-to-speed on what's at stake for our transgender neighbors in NC AND how the Church can make a difference.

Topics will inckude:
🏳️‍⚧️ updates on anti-trans legislation and its impacts on all humans

🏳️‍⚧️ how the anti-trans movement is part of White Christian Nationalism

🏳️‍⚧️ why it’s important for people of faith to challenge harmful legislation and theology

Anyone interested in being a good neighbor to trans folx is welcome to join us for this time of learning and empowerment!

Saturday, 9/26 from 2-4pm in the Fellowship Hall
