💖 Galentine’s Day Brunch 💖

We had a wonderful time with our RYM moms and daughters! It was a beautiful reminder of the sweet bond they share, and the wonderful gift of motherhood and daughterhood. We enjoyed laughter and heartfelt conversations, while also enjoying some delicious, completely made-from-scratch (*cough, cough, wink, wink, ifykyk*) baked goods!

We love our RYM ladies and are thankful for what the Lord is doing in and through them!

At its most basic, Confirmation refers to the rite in which, after a believer has been baptized, they make a mature commitment to the faith and receive increased gifting of the Holy Spirit through the bishop’s prayer, laying on of hands, and anointing. 🕊️

The Catechism puts it beautifully. When asked, “What grace does God give you in confirmation?” the response is, “In confirmation, God strengthens the work of the Holy Spirit in me for his daily increase in my Christian life and ministry.” 🙌

Starting March 2, during the season of Lent, 10th – 12th grade students are invited to go through Confirmation by attending confirmation classes and our fun and awesome Confirmation Retreat! For more information and to register, check out the link in our bio 🔗

Our new series “On Repeat” is all about looking at the Gospel of Mark and learning to love like Jesus. In Week 1 we saw the interaction between Jesus and Bartimaeus in Mark 10. Jesus showed to those who weren’t paying attention to Bartimaeus, what it looks like to listen well. Remember, when we listen to understand, repeat what has been shared, and ask how we can help, we show people how much we care about them. And that is worth repeating. 🔁

🔥 We just wrapped up our incredible series, “Third Person,” learning all about the Holy Spirit! 🕊️ Over the past month, we’ve explored how the Holy Spirit is God, how He shows us truth, how He gives us wisdom, and we concluded our series last night with an incredible time of prayer and worship!! And let’s just say, the Holy Spirit MOVED 🙌

Redeemer Youth, this is just the beginning!! Let’s keep walking in His presence and power!! The Spirit of God is your Helper. He is your Advocate. You are never alone because the Holy Spirit is always with you!! 🔥
