Home.

This week, our Appalachian Service Project team set out to repair homes, but we returned with hearts that have been rebuilt in ways we never expected.

We witnessed God's love in the mountains, in the people we served, in the conversations we shared, and in the hands that worked alongside one another. We leave with a deeper understanding of what it means to truly love our neighbors—not just through words, but through action.

Thank you to our church family for your prayers, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. You were part of every hammer swung, every prayer prayed, and every life touched.

Now the mission continues. The work of loving, serving, and welcoming others doesn't end when the trip does. It begins again right here at home.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."— 1 John 3:18

We're grateful to be home, and we're even more grateful for the ways God continues to shape Community in Christ into the hands and feet of Jesus.

❄️ What an incredible week at VBS 2026! ❄️
Our Snowball Mountain Challenge was a tremendous success! Throughout the week, our children discovered that they can "do all things through Him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)

We are so grateful for every child who attended, every family who entrusted us with their children, and every volunteer who gave their time, talents, energy, and love to make this week so special. From decorating and teaching to crafts, music, games, snacks, and behind-the-scenes support, this ministry would not have been possible without you.

Thank you for helping create a fun, faith-filled week where children grew in their relationship with Christ and experienced the love of our church family.

We are already looking forward to what God has in store for VBS 2027!
