The mission of Spiral Life Pagan Circle & Fellowship hasn't changed since the time we were just Spiral Life Fellowship; sitting around a fire pit. We are Pagan group and temple made up of different paths and beliefs coming together. Like a big broom closet full of other people in there own broom closet.
As mention we started out when a friend lost his meeting place and I offered a place to continue bringing people together but instead outside around a fire pit amongst nature at no cost to him this time. He said definitely but instead let's call it something else and you run the show. I said ok, and that's how the original name Spiral Life Fellowship was born because we came together, all walks, all paths around a fire talking about Paganism, Wiccan and witchcraft and anything around and in-between. But I have had other inspirations to go bigger and run a festival of some kind bringing more people together. We went to the Summer Solstice Festival in Lenoir which sadly no longer exists and I had one of the ladies help me start a (long story short) Yuletide Blessings Festival in 2022. After the success of our first festival we felt like we put Spiral Life Pagan Fellowship on the map! So many more people showed up from the coast to the TN mountains from Virginia to Colombia, SC.
That following early spring a name change happened to what we know it as today. Plans were started for the next years 2023 Yuletide Blessings festival to which another successful production. Then a need was brought to our attention that a Beltane festival in Reidsville, had closed up and the community wanted us to continue it, though I wanted to plan a Summer Solstice Litha Festival since the one in Lenoir closed down we couldn't ignore the community wishes. So in 2024 we did a "in house" Beltane Celebration Festival within Spiral Life Pagan Circle & Fellowship only to see how it can be done and what similar things can be done. We couldn't wait to do this again in 2024 as we and the patrons loved how it turned out! Towards the end of 2024 we did a small in house short notice Samhain Ritual of Remembrance and Dinner. Our Priestess and I led Ritual. It was somber yet wonderful. Those who came loved it.
But at the end 2024 some sad and unfortunate line of events unfolded... and Spiral Life Pagan Circle & Fellowship lost its home base of operation and land. We struggled to find a spot to hold atleast our main and biggest event of our Yuletide Blessings Festival for 2025, then we were able to secure a spot to have our festival within a bigger festival. We started something new which was childrens story time reading The Great Hunt! The only problem was the distance, it was so far away from our central area that attendance was very low.
We will always keep trying to find a new spot to constantly have our monthly Fellowship meets and I think that might be coming back very soon but the 2026 Yuletide needs a different and more secure place. We are not giving up on you since it is you all that keeps this going.
We at Spiral Life Pagan Circle & Fellowship need your help. We need land. The land will be for everyone whether you are Norse, Wiccan, or a witch who needs a spot to hold there own ritual spaces. Land for Festival grounds. And, land to build on. We have plans to build what would look similar to a viking long house. This main building will be indoor activities especially if it's way too cold out or on a count of rain and storms. Stage area for music. Space for Handfastings, reception, and funerals, repast party and open to the public.
But as you can imagine non of this cash be done with out the communities support and donations!
