Wondering what to expect the day of conference? You can expect to hear from several Spirit-led voices on the panel titled, “The Royal Heirs: Walking in God’s Inheritance.”
The panel moderator is Rosetta Davis, a native of Yanceyville, NC. After graduating from Bartlett Yancey High School in 2000, she moved to Greensboro, NC where she attended North Carolina A&T State University. At A&T, she majored in Political Science and was a member of the Henry Frye Pre-Law Society, as well as an Aggie Ambassador. She was inducted into several honors societies such as Alpha Lambda Delta and the Golden Key International Honors Society. Rosetta also participated in organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and the North Carolina A&T Cheer Squad.
Upon graduating in 2004, she worked as a legal assistant for a local attorney before attending law school. Then in 2005, Rosetta moved to Lansing, MI where she attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School (formerly Thomas M. Cooley Law School). She received her JD in 2008 with a concentration in litigation.
Rosetta then returned to Greensboro, NC in 2008, passed the North Carolina Bar, and was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney. While with the District Attorney’s Office, Rosetta prosecuted cases in both District and Superior Court. In 2012, she moved to Charlotte, NC, where she was a litigator with the law firm of Goodman McGuffey, defending workers’ compensation claims on behalf of various insurance carriers and employers. In 2016, Rosetta returned to Greensboro, NC where she began working as an Assistant City Attorney with the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Greensboro. In this capacity, she supported various departments and boards such as the Human Resources Department, the Human Rights Department, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the Greensboro Criminal Justice Advisory Commission, along with its sub-committee, the Police Community Review Board. Currently, Rosetta works as a Deputy City Attorney where she primarily serves as the City’s Human Resources Attorney.
Outside of work, Rosetta enjoys spending time with her husband Jason, and their two children Easton (6) and Knox (4). She has the honor of serving beside her husband, who is the lead Pastor at Impact Church here in Greensboro.
