We praise God for our Mothers! United Friendship is blessed to have Mothers who are rooted in faith. Generations of mothers are represented in our congregation and we are able to see God's continual blessings in each legacy of faith. Happy Mother's Day may each Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and, Mother Figure feel abundantly blessed today and always.

United Friendship Missionary Baptist Church wishes Mother Parthenia Shoffner a beautifully blessed 90th Birthday. We celebrate you for the gift that you are and pray that God continues to shine on you as He shines through you.
What a mighty God I serve who blesses me far more than I deserve
He gives me life more abundantly and has brought me to the age of 90
I have such beautiful memories of my yesteryear's
some moments of joy others were sprinkled with tears

Daily I sit and sing praises to my God and king
And I can't put to words the joy that He brings
Floods of joy fill my soul as God's goodness I proclaim
and even more at 90 I freely praise His name.

God's love has taught me about His amazing grace
and His love has carried me from faith to faith
I will forever tell of God's great glory
for 90 years I've been telling this story
The story of the Savior whose blood did flow
and today I still sing He's sweet I know.

You may look at me and dare to think outwardly I am wearing out
But every moment I am on the brink of a praise song and a shout
Because inwardly God is renewing me and that is day by day
So I am blessed to reach this blessed milestone-my 90th birthday.
