Emanuel's Cemetery - Managed By The Lark Cemetery Association

Emanuel's Cemetery - Managed By The Lark Cemetery Association Emanuel's Cemetery - A non-denominational cemetery governed by Lark Cemetery Association. Join the legacy of your ancestors by being a part of history.

In 1858, the Lark Emanuel Congregation (later to merge with the United Methodist) was formed in the Town of Morrison, Brown County. A white wooden church was built on the current site of Emanuel's Cemetery. In 1913, a new brick church was built north of the cemetery and remained in operation until 2008. The church building is now privately owned and used as a wedding chapel. Emanuel's Cemetery has

some of the most affordable cemetery properties and services in the area. Our pricing assures that you won't find any hidden charges for our outstanding service and unparalleled property. The purchase price of a full-size burial site is $750 and includes landscaping after the burial and perpetual care. Only one traditional burial per burial is allowed. We also have smaller cremation burial sites available for $400 each. If a full-size burial site is purchased and used for a cremation burial, a two more cremation burials on the same burial site may be allowed for $300 fee each. We believe you will find the countryside with rolling hills and a peaceful breeze are absolutely priceless.

🌟 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥'𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 🌟

Dear Lark/Morrison/Wayside Community, Friends, and Former Members of the United Methodist Church in Lark,

Emanuel's Cemetery, a cherished resting place for our loved ones, holds within its grounds the memories and legacies of generations past. As members of the Lark Cemetery Association, we're reaching out to you, our community, for your support in preserving and honoring this sacred space.

We're embarking on two crucial projects aimed at ensuring the dignity and accessibility of Emanuel's Cemetery for years to come.

1. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡: Over time, the gravel driveway that winds through the cemetery has worn down, making it challenging for visitors, especially during inclement weather. By adding more gravel, we aim to improve access for all who wish to pay their respects to their dearly departed.

2. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Many of the grave markers in Emanuel's Cemetery have begun to lean, risking damage and loss of the cherished inscriptions that commemorate our loved ones. With your help, we can ensure that these markers stand tall and proud, preserving the memory of those who rest beneath them.

Your generous donations will directly contribute to these vital projects, safeguarding the tranquility and sanctity of Emanuel's Cemetery for generations to come. No donation is too small, as every contribution makes a meaningful impact on our efforts.

To donate, contact us at [email protected]. Your support is deeply appreciated and will be acknowledged with gratitude in the preservation of this beloved community landmark.

Together, let's honor the past, celebrate the present, and secure the future of Emanuel's Cemetery.

With heartfelt thanks,
Lark Cemetery Association
