We have not had great attendance by our pastors and lay members the last few meetings and we would love for you to join us! Let us tell you what is happening on our grounds, about Camp Greene and Campmeeting. Be apart of the Lord moving through the activities we have going on so you can share them with your church family.

East Tennessee Church of God Camp Meeting begins Sunday, July 27th and runs through Wednesday, July 30th. Please share with your churches, friends, and families.

We were able to saw the lumber today from the trees. Steve Myers and Aaron Heater brought their wood mizer saw mills out and we started around 8 :30 and finished up around 6:00. We were able to saw almost 4000 board feet of lumber. Steve said it was some the best lumber he's seen in a while. It's on sticks and ready to dry. Thank you to everyone who came to help!

The Spring 2025 East TN Campground Association Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 6:30 pm. Due to volunteers continuing to utilize Hooten Hall, our meeting will be held in the M and M Building.

Churches are reminded that all licensed and ordained ministers of the Church of God in East TN and two (2) duly elected or appointed lay delegates from each of the congregations of the Church of God in East Tennessee comprise the members of this body. We are asking that each church ask one person to serve on the committee to make decisions about the 70th anniversary celebration of the founding of the East TN Church of God Campground, which we would like to celebrate this year, if the voting body of the Association choses to move forward with the planning of this in April.

We look forward to seeing everyone this month.

Now that all of the dead/dying trees have been removed from the front of the campgrounds, we are looking to replace them with 15 Arborvitae trees (see the picture below). These trees will grow to build a nice border to provide protection and a sound barrier to the front of the grounds. We are looking for 15 individuals or groups to donate $85 for the purchase of one tree. Please send donations to Virginia Waddell at 500 Chuckey Ruritan Rd. S, Chuckey, TN 37641. Mark these donations for the trees. 🌲

The new heating and air units have been installed at the campground. God blessed in that process and the insurance company found that the storms earlier this year were involved in the failure of our other units. Thanks to Jeff M and Bob B for their work with the insurance company and Bailey’s while getting this done!
