The youth served tonight by packing 200 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! What a wonderful way to encourage and inspire the next generation of our church by giving their time to spread the Christmas joy to children on the other side of the world. Way to go youth!

VBS is almost here! July 15th through the 19th, the Students will be having VBS from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This is going to be a great time for us to gather for a time of worship, a time of diving into God's word, and a time of fellowship with one another. This is open to students who are in 7th grade and up. If you would like to register, you can find the link to do so on the Towering Oaks Website. Sign-up today and invite a friend to come with you! Tonight we are starting a new series for MDWK, Inverted. This will be a series centered upon the sermon on the mount and how Christ flipped the world upside down. It's going to be a great series and I'm super excited for it.

It’s that time of year again! It’s time for Secret Church! This year we will be going through the book of Ruth in a one night study on April 26th, from 5:00-11:00. Many Christians in other countries face extreme persecution, and gathering together with other believers isn’t a given, it’s a privilege. Meeting in secrecy, they often read, worship, and preach through the night. Secret Church is a night that gives us a glimpse into that reality. We will meet together, eat together, pray for persecuted brothers and sisters together, and dive into God’s word together. It will be a great time! Everybody needs a space to talk about their faith, to air out questions, to engage doubts. We want to be that space. Sometimes you don't need another class or series, sometimes you just need a time and place to talk. That's what we are going to start doing on the first MDWK of every month. From 5:45-7:00 we will be having a group chat, guided by your questions and thoughts around the Christian faith. I hope that you will come out tonight and join us to just chat and marvel at Christ and what He has done. Some of the most formative moments in my faith took place when I was just engaged in random discussion with my mentors of the faith, and I desire for Towering Oaks to have that same effect. Join us tonight!

FUGE 2024 sign-ups are open! We are super excited to attend FUGE this year at Southern Wesleyan University from June 10th to June 14th! There are three ways to sign up this year: message us on instagram, email [email protected], or sign up in person at MDWK! We will have a parent meeting discussing details about FUGE on February 11th following the Sunday morning service. The theme this year is The Revival Generation and that is my prayer for our students here at Towering Oaks, that they would experience the goodness of Christ and be set on fire for Him. Looking forward to FUGE this year! Hope that you can go!

Below you will find a bullet list of information.
When? June 10-14.
Where? Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC.
What? FUGE is a summer camp where students spend a week in worship, bible study (groups and individual), fellowship, and service in the community.
How much? The cost is $350 per student with a $75 deposit due by March 3rd. There will be fundraisers available and financial aid. We have never turned away a student who has wanted to go to camp on the basis of finances. Please feel free to contact me.
Info? There will be a parent meeting on February 11th following the Sunday morning service.
