The Central Baptist Church in Greene is associated with the American Baptist Churches of New York State, a regional expression of the Body of Christ, in response to Christ’s call, assumes responsibility for leading, challenging, resourcing and empowering our churches and Associations so the liberating Good News might be proclaimed, experienced and lived in fullness.

As August begins to fall away towards September, we must maintain a posture of gratitude and Thanksgiving. For this world continues to fall apart held together only by the will of the Almighty God. For it is in his mercy and heart that the world continues to spin! Each day, the news would be enough to drive most under a rock, yet hope abounds! For hope is from God as he is hope as much as love! This world needs to love of God so much in this moment and so few are willing to spread it. For it is easy to criticize, to tear down and demean rather than build and build up. For this is a late hour as we drift towards the day when the Lord Jesus returns to pass judgement upon the earth! Yet, we must stay vigilant and continue to do the work of the Kingdom of God upon this earth. This is a time of renewed energy as so many are fatigued and tired, yet they shall have their strength renewed! For it is a complex time, a time of preparation, building, renewal, but also many things must fall that are not of God or his Kingdom! For we must encourage one another and be steadfast almost to the point of obstinace in our faith as we shine brightly in a dark world!!!
