In 1 Thessalonians 5:17 the Bible commands us to "pray constantly". This means whether things are good or things are bad....we can pray with our kids and also pray for them! Give it a try today! God is never too busy to hear from us!

Time for another segment of: DISCIPLESHIP TIP TUESDAY!

Set realistic expectations!

Family worship isn't going to look like regular church service, complete with a worship band, an in-depth Bible study and thoughtfully crafted prayers that tie into the message of scripture. But that shouldn't stop you!

Start where you are and develop a new habit! It's as simple as discussing the current Bible story 1x a week. Maybe it's during dinner time. Maybe it's as you drive somewhere together in the car. No matter how it looks, just GET STARTED! 😊

Berean Kids have been sponsoring a child through Compassion International for the past year. Wow! Our sponsor child is named Rocio and she is in 4th grade. Her family lives and farms in El Salvador. This month they are planting crops like corn, sugar cane and coffee!

Have you ever thought, "I'm not qualified to teach my kid about the Bible. I've never been to seminary and I'm surely not a pastor!"
Guess what? You're JUST the person to do it! So grab a kids Bible and sit down with your child/children and pick out a story to read. You might be surprised how much you learn too!
For littles, we love The Beginner's Bible. For bigger kids, we love the Adventure Bible NIrV for Early Readers. We're also big fans of The Action Bible since it's full of pictures and reads like a comic book, making it more accessible to young readers.
