Daily Bible Verse
The Lord thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
--Joel 2:11

Joel 2:1~11
1 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill.
2 Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming.
It is close at hand—a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains, a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.
3 Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes.
Before them the land is like the garden of Eden, behind them, a desert waste—
nothing escapes them.
4 They have the appearance of horses; they gallop along like cavalry.
5 With a noise like that of chariots they leap over the mountaintops, like a crackling fire consuming stubble, like a mighty army drawn up for battle.
6 At the sight of them, nations are in anguish; every face turns pale.
7 They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers.
They all march in line, not swerving from their course.
8 They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead.
They plunge through defenses without breaking ranks.
9 They rush upon the city; they run along the wall.
They climb into the houses; like thieves they enter through the windows.
10 Before them the earth shakes, the heavens tremble,
the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine.
11 The Lord thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the Lord is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

Daily Bible Verse and Prayer
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
--Galatians 6:14

Dear Heavenly Father,
We repent for our sins that crucified our Lord Jesus Christ who is completely righteous and blameless. We thank you for sending our savior to the sinful world we live in, to become the light of this world. You showed us the Way, the Truth, the Life. We are immersed in Your love and grace. We want to separate ourselves from this world, follow the path of the cross, and become humble servants of our Lord Jesus Christ, just as He did to save our lives. The world means nothing to us now. Let us fix our eyes on Your kingdom and live a life that glorifies Your name. All the praise and glory be to You. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Daily Bible Verse and Prayer
Though we are slaves, our God has not forsaken us in our bo***ge. He has shown us kindness in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.
--Ezra 9:9

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for giving us the new life we do not deserve. Even though we strayed from Your commands, You waited for us to turn and come back to You. If You marked our transgressions, who can stand? But thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ who paid the price for our sins and redeemed us from eternal hell, we can approach You and build a deep relationship with You and Your Son Jesus Christ. You have protected us from evil just as You did for Israelites thousands of years ago. Let us approach Your throne of grace with awe and entrust our journey ahead to You. You are the faithful and righteous one. You will lead the people of this world back to You. The knowledge of Your Glory will fill the earth as water covers the sea. Thank You for revealing Yourself to us and giving us the mission to preach Your Word. We appreciate Your love and guidance forever, and give all the glory to You. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Proverbs 16:1 The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.

Isaiah 46:13 I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel.

Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Verse of the Day.
Romans 11:22~24
22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

Verse of the Day
John 15:1~8
1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Let us give thanks to the Lord for all the work He has done and all the love He has shown this year.
Psalm 107:1~22
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—
those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,
3 those he gathered from the lands,
from east and west, from north and south.[a]

4 Some wandered in desert wastelands,
finding no way to a city where they could settle.
5 They were hungry and thirsty,
and their lives ebbed away.
6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
7 He led them by a straight way
to a city where they could settle.
8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
9 for he satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things.

10 Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness,
prisoners suffering in iron chains,
11 because they rebelled against God’s commands
and despised the plans of the Most High.
12 So he subjected them to bitter labor;
they stumbled, and there was no one to help.
13 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
14 He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness,
and broke away their chains.
15 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
16 for he breaks down gates of bronze
and cuts through bars of iron.

17 Some became fools through their rebellious ways
and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.
18 They loathed all food
and drew near the gates of death.
19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
20 He sent out his word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave.
21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings
and tell of his works with songs of joy.

Verse of the day.
Matthew 3:1~6
1 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea
2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”
4 John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
5 People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.
6 Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

Verse of the Day.
Jeremiah 29:10~14
10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Have a blessed day!
