Some more pics of the final push work at church today to put things in place after the restoration work was complete. The organ pipes were all removed in April. They were stored in the Pastor's office. The wall surrounding the organ needed to be rebuilt because if water damage, replastered and painted. Many thanks to all who helped today!

šŸ½ļøFIRST MONDAY MEAL PROGRAM IS TOMORROW!šŸ½ļø

Tomorrow, September 14, is the September First Monday Meal!

The First Monday Meal was started in 2015 by a collection of area churches and organizations sensing a need in the community for food, socialization, and safe spiritual atmosphere.

Diners have two options for meals, both starting at 6:00 PM:

St. Mark's Lutheran Church will be preparing and serving a sit-down meal at Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg. The menu is chicken alfredo with broccoli, rolls and butter, dessert, and drinks.

East Penn Hill Lioness Lions Club will be preparing and serving a drive-thru meal (until 7:00 PM) at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. The menu is penne pasta with meatballs and sauce, a roll, and pudding.

TAIZƉ PRAYER: A QUIET SPACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK

Join friends from our Reformation Sister Churches of the Upper Perkiomen Valley for a peaceful evening of TaizƩ prayer.

TaizĆ© worship is a simple, contemplative experience centered around gentle music, repeated songs, Scripture, prayer, and silence. There is nothing you need to prepare or know ahead of time. Simply come, settle in, and allow yourself some quiet space to rest in Godā€™s presence.

We gather in the lower level of The Center at The Open Link in East Greenville. Please park on the street and enter through the lower level entrance.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

As a community of faith, we are reminded that mental health struggles are not a failure of faith. Depression is not a character flaw, and anxiety is not a sign that someone hasnā€™t prayed enough.

Prayer matters. So does professional help!

Sometimes loving our neighbor means listening without judgment, sitting with someone in their struggle, or encouraging them to seek the support they need.

Join the Reformation Sister Churches of the Upper Perkiomen Valley for a six week study of the Gospel of Mark, led by pastors from our sister congregations.
