One of the most incredible parts of MADD Camp is watching what happens when creativity, friendship, music, and a little camp magic come together.

This summer, our MADD Campers did something pretty special: they wrote their very own song, โ€œIn Godโ€™s Heart.โ€ The ideas, the words, the creativity, and the heart behind it came from our campers, and now we finally get to share it with all of you! ๐Ÿ’™

A huge thank you to Andra Moran, Jacob Nault, Bryan Sirchio, and Josh Simon for sharing their talents, encouraging our campers, and helping them turn their ideas into something truly special. Thank you for helping our campers create a little magic at Daycholah. โœจ

We are so proud of our MADD Campers and the beautiful reminder they created that each of us has a place โ€œIn Godโ€™s Heart.โ€

Another unforgettable week of camp is in the books!

Night Week brought later bedtimes, flashlight adventures, outdoor games, cooking competitions, campfires, laughs, and memories that will last long after summer ends.

Thank you to our incredible staff for embracing the unique schedule, bringing endless energy, and making every moment magical. And thank you to our campers and families for trusting us with another amazing week.

This Tuesday, Daycholah Center welcomes a team from the American Camp Association (ACA) for our accreditation visit.

ACA Accreditation is the gold standard for summer camps and reflects our commitment to providing a safe, high-quality, and meaningful experience for every camper. Our staff has spent the last twelve months preparing, and we're excited for the opportunity to showcase the incredible work they do every day.

We'd be grateful if you would keep our campers, staff, volunteers, and accreditation visitors in your thoughts and prayers as we celebrate all that makes Daycholah Center so special.

We didn't forget about our last week, week 3 campers, and what an amazing week it was!

A huge thank you to our And Me, Tenderfoot, and Middle School Adventure campers and families for filling Daycholah Center with laughter, friendship, and adventure. From first camp experiences to new challenges and lifelong memories, this week was one to remember.

Thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who make the magic of camp happen every single day. We couldn't do it without you.

โ˜€๏ธ Camper Update for Families

With the combination of high temperatures, smoke drifting into our area from the Canadian wildfires, and a blue-green algae bloom on the lake, we've made the decision to shift to primarily indoor activities and games for the final two days of camp.

The safety and well-being of our campers and staff is always our top priority. Our counselors have plenty of fun indoor activities planned, including games, crafts, team challenges, and other camp favorites to make sure everyone still has an amazing end to the week.

We'll continue to monitor conditions closely and adjust our schedule if it's safe to do so.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We can't wait to see everyone at pickup with lots of great camp memories to share! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ•๏ธ

What a fantastic Week 2 at Daycholah Center! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

From our Me's, Tenderfoot, CON, MADD, and Middle School Adventure Camps, camp was full of laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

Campers experienced amazing Birds of Prey, tested their skills in an epic Quidditch match, a crawfish catch and release competition, Tavern Night, cheered each other on during the Talent Show, and even took to the water for Beginning Sailing. Just a few of the incredible moments from an action-packed week!

What a day on the water! Our campers had an absolute blast this morning, learning the basics of sailing, building confidence, catching the wind, and making unforgettable memories on Green Lake.

There's nothing quite like the joy of seeing a camper take the helm for the first time. We can't wait for more adventures on the water this summer! ๐Ÿ’™โ˜€๏ธ
