Prayer can feel small, like a single thread in your hand. But Scripture reminds us that God is weaving every faithful prayer into His greater purposes. The God who says, “I will,” also invites us to “Ask Me.” Even when we can’t see what He’s doing, our prayers are never wasted—they’re part of the beautiful tapestry He’s creating.

On Sunday, we continued our exposition of Romans by asking one of humanity’s oldest questions: What is wrong with people?

In Romans 1:21–22, Paul reveals that humanity’s deepest problem is not merely sinful behavior, but the rejection of God that corrupts the whole person. Yet where sin has corrupted, the gospel of Jesus Christ brings hope.

On Sunday, we continued our study through Romans 1:19–20. We saw that God has clearly revealed Himself through creation, leaving every person without excuse before Him. Yet the same God who rightly judges guilty sinners has provided His Son to bear the condemnation we deserved.

On Sunday, we continued our study of Romans 1:17 and considered what characterizes the life of those who have been justified by faith. Paul teaches that the faith by which sinners receive Christ’s righteousness is the same faith by which they continually depend upon God and trust His promises.

For our Family Worship this Lord’s Day, we explored with the kids and congregation the story of Jonah through the theme: “The God Who Saves.” Together, we saw that God is merciful and powerful to save — pursuing runaway sinners, showing compassion to the undeserving, and teaching His people to love His mercy. “Salvation belongs to the LORD.” — Jonah 2:9
