Saint Mary's Episcopal Church Come to the Waters. Come to worship with a thirst for God!

Good afternoon, friends,

A quick post to let you know that the platform we use to send our weekly newsletter is currently experiencing an outage. The engineers are aware of the issue and are working to restore service as soon as possible.

Because of this, The Word in the Water may arrive a little later than usual this week.

Thank you, as always, for your patience, understanding, and grace. We are grateful for your continued presence and for the ways we journey together as a community of faith.

Blessings to you all, and thank you for your grace as we work through this! ❤️🙏

Juneteenth is an invitation to remember honestly, to give thanks for those who persevered through oppression, and to recommit ourselves to the work of healing, reconciliation, and justice.

The Gospel calls us into relationship with one another, into the hard and holy work of listening, learning, and building communities where every person is recognized as beloved by God.

Please note, the Diocesan Office is closed Friday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

With grateful hearts we are delighted to announce that The Rev. Teri Calinao has humbly and joyfully accepted the call to serve as our Rector, effective immediately.

Many of us have already been blessed by Mother Teri's ministry, leadership, and pastoral care during her time among us during the past two years. We give thanks to God for guiding this process and are thrilled to officially welcome her in this new role.

Please join us in offering prayers for Mother Teri and her husband, George, as well as our parish, as we begin this exciting new chapter together. To God be the glory!
