Joe Barrie has been the pastor of Living Waters since the founding of the work in 1975. He and his wife Mary Anne were married March 19, 1965, and they have three children; David, Rebekah, and Deborah. They are both natives of Green Cove Springs. Joe began his ministry as a Southern Baptist and was ordained in 1964 while he was pastor of Spring Bank Baptist Church. His ministry changed in 1965 whe

n he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and had to leave the Baptist Church. He worked with the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Green Cove Springs for a few years and later became a part of the Congregational Holiness Church where he pastored two churches. He worked with the Assemblies of God for three years as a youth minister and in the music ministry. Pastor Barrie is an ordained minister in the SonShine Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
