AUGUST RECAP | VISIBLE YOUTH 💜

August was full of fellowship, fun, and opportunities to grow closer to God and to one another!

We kicked off the month with Youth Group Camping—food, fire, slackline, co****le, hikes, beach games, s’mores, and lots of laughter. But more importantly, we had time to slow down, fellowship, and enjoy God’s creation. God was definitely present, even keeping the rain away when we needed it most!

We also spent two weeks focusing on GRATITUDE and what the Bible teaches us about having a thankful heart. We talked about the difference between simply saying “thank you” and truly living with gratitude, even when circumstances aren’t easy. We were challenged to recognize God’s goodness, give thanks in all circumstances, and allow gratitude to change our perspective and our character.

One of the biggest reminders this month was the power of prayer. We asked our church family to pray over our youth, giving each person a specific student to lift up. We’ve already heard stories of breakthroughs, things being brought into the light, changed attitudes, and God moving in the lives of these students. God hears our prayers, and He is at work!

We are so thankful for this group of students and for every parent, leader, and church family member who invests in them, prays for them, encourages them, and walks alongside them.

August reminded us that we are not meant to do this life alone. We grow together. We pray together. We serve together. We give thanks together. And we point one another back to Jesus.

Thank you, Visible Church, for loving these students so well. They truly have such a special place in our hearts. 💜

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18

What a joy and honor it has been to serve these seniors! ❤️

We are sad to see them go, but we also rejoice knowing that we were blessed to play even a small part in their walk with God. Watching them grow, learn, serve, and draw closer to Him has been such a gift.

We are so proud of each of you and excited to see where God leads you next. Keep seeking Him, trusting Him, and allowing Him to guide your steps. We love you and will be cheering you on!

Remember you are never alone when you walk with God.
Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

BIBLICAL GRATITUDE — PART ONE 🙏
Last week at Youth Group, we began a two-week study on Biblical Gratitude.
Gratitude is more than simply saying “thank you.” We talked about what it means to recognize God’s goodness, remember what He has done, and choose thankfulness even when circumstances aren't perfect.
As we grow in our faith, gratitude helps shift our focus from what we wish we had to what God has already given us.
We challenged our students to slow down, notice God's blessings, and develop a heart that is genuinely thankful—not just when things are going well, but in every season.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1

GOD IS MOVING

Two weeks ago, we asked each person to pray over our Youth. Each person was given one name to specifically lift up in prayer.

God was moving, and your prayers were heard. ❤️

Parents have shared about breakthroughs in their children—things that had been in the dark were brought into the light, attitudes changed, hearts softened, and through it all, God was magnified.

We may not always see what God is doing when we pray, but that doesn't mean He isn't moving.

Thank you for faithfully praying over these kids who hold such a special place in my heart. Thank you for standing in the gap, lifting them up, and trusting God with their lives.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep lifting them up.

Youth Group Camping Recap 🏕️

Just a little recap of Youth Group Camping!

There was food, fire, slacklining, co****le, hikes, beach games, s’mores, and lots of laughter—but most importantly, there was time to fellowship and simply enjoy being together.

God was definitely involved in our weekend. He kept the rain away when we needed Him to and gave us a beautiful opportunity to slow down, enjoy His creation, and lean closer to Him.

We’re thankful for the memories, the conversations, the laughter, and the time spent growing together. ❤️

What a blessing to spend time together outside of our normal Wednesday nights! 🏕️🔥
