Just wanted to remind everyone that intercessory prayer is tonight at 6pm in the sanctuary. Come and pray with us!

John 14:26: "But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative-that is, The Holy Spirit-He will teach you
everything and will remind you of everything that I have told you."

Let's not come simply to have another prayer meeting; let's come yielded and depending on the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit, show us Jesus.
Holy Spirit, open our understanding.
Holy Spirit, teach us to abide.
Holy Spirit, teach us to pray.
Holy Spirit, search our hearts.
Holy Spirit, tear down every wall we have allowed to come between us and you God.
Holy Spirit, awaken what has been dormant.
Holy Spirit, burn away apathy and restore our hunger for Jesus.

There is more of God to know and more of Christ to encounter.

Visible Kids-Back To School Edition

It was an awesome day in Visible Kids! We celebrated “back-to-school” with breakfast and taking time to specifically pray over each child for a good school year.

We wrapped up our series on Joseph, which gave us an opportunity to talk about hard things—like school—being something God can use to make us mature.

The kids made a physical reminder of the truth woven through our entire series: you may only see one piece of the puzzle, but God sees the whole picture.

We sent each kiddo off to school with a cross bracelet and a pencil clip to remind them that God is always with them.

Joseph was in the pit, the prison, and the palace, and God was in each of those places turning hard situations for good.

Today was also a wrap on the book of Genesis. We spent 8 months studying Genesis closely so the kids have a solid foundation to build upon! Join us next week when we kick off a series on Moses.
