A Message from Bishop Ricken

Bishop Ricken offered the following words of comfort and consolation following this week's tornado in the Fox Valley.
“My heartfelt prayers are with all those impacted by today’s tornado in the Fox Valley. Let us all place our hearts and hands at the service of one another in this difficult time. I have also heard that some of our churches have been damaged. We will continue to work closely with our parishes and assist wherever needed. In this time of loss, let us walk together with Christ who is our comfort and hope. Our Lady of Champion, pray for us."

How Are We Helping?
In response to the devastating tornado that impacted the Fox Valley this week, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay, through our local presence in Menasha, is working alongside emergency response partners, parishes, and community organizations to support affected individuals and families.

Our efforts are focused on:
Assessing immediate needs
Connecting residents with essential resources
Providing compassionate care and support
Helping coordinate recovery assistance for those facing housing, financial, and other storm-related challenges
As the community begins the long process of recovery and rebuilding, Catholic Charities remains committed to accompanying individuals and families through every stage of recovery with hope, dignity, and practical assistance.

PRAY FOR THOSE AFFECTED
As Bishop Ricken asks, please join us in praying for all those affected by the tornado, especially individuals and families facing loss, uncertainty, and hardship. Pray for first responders, volunteers, and all who are assisting in recovery efforts.

Those interested in volunteering to assist with recovery efforts can register for a standby volunteer list through Volunteer Fox Cities. Volunteers will be contacted as community needs are identified and coordinated.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Potluck & Sheepshead gathering! It was wonderful to share delicious food, friendly competition, and great fellowship together. We are grateful for the opportunity to gather as a parish family and look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Welcome Our New Pastoral Associate/Liturgist

Tami Witter, to the Nativity Staff!

Having grown up at Nativity, Tami is grateful for the opportunity to return home and serve the parish community. She brings 15 years of experience as a middle and high school choir director and has remained actively involved in parish life throughout her career.

Tami looks forward to accompanying members of our faith community, supporting our liturgies and serving our ministries. Her hope is that everyone who comes to Nativity knows they are welcome, valued, and truly belong here.
