May crowning was well attended by the first communicants and the SJB Catholic Women this past weekend before all masses at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howard. What a joy it is to see the children embrace this wonderful tradition of crowning Mary at the beginning of mass on Mother's Day weekend. Thank you to Rachel Skenandore for organizing this annual event and for the ladies who led event: Rachel Skenandore, Tammy Douglas, Denise Chambers and Karen Bookter.

The 47th Annual Spring Get Away 2026 is here! There was a full house of smiling ladies enjoying our Bake Sale, 5 for $50 Raffle, Designer Purse Raffle, Bucket Raffle, Gift Card Pull, Door Prizes, Silent Auction baskets and Live Auction items being sold by our Auctioneer Pete Petoniak. The morning of the event we finalized the decorations and basic setup including bringing in the hanging flower baskets that were doir prizes for two lucky ladies later that night. The Gift Card Pull board was assembled and put up. The registration table and bakery were also set up. We are looking forward to the evenings festivities.

Thank you to Andrea Martinez and family for the beautiful yellow roses placed next to Mary at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howard.

SJB Catholic Women members please join us as we honor Mary with May Crowning on Mother's Day weekend, May 9th & May 10th. CW ladies we will meet in the Narthex before each mass as we gather with first communicants to bring Mary's crown and flowers in procession before all masses. Thank you for your participation in this blessed honor.

A wonderful Saturday, April 18th, spent with the Green Bay Diocesan Council of Catholic Women at St. Mary's in Crivitz WI for the. 2026 Assembly.
