GREATEST HIJACKING/SURPRISE EVER! So I came to church this morning ready to deliver the message: "Why are We at Church?" Instead, Ramona and I learned that folks at church had planned a hijacking of the message in honor of Pastor Appreciation Month. It was humbling to hear people express what Ramona and I have meant in their lives. But what I heard is what God is doing in the lives of people through Samaritan's Heart Ministries. They delivered the message I had prepared far better than I ever could have. Thank you to Hijacker in Chief Cathi Oreto and all her accomplices. It's a little frightening to see how devious you all can be. :) We love you all very much and are blessed with such an amazing church family!

Samaritan's Heart Ministries has been blessed to be joined by eight partner churches to provide a warming space for the unhoused on Sunday afternoons during the St. John's Ministries sheltering season. That so many churches put Kingdom before individual castles is an amazing blessing. There are still opportunities to help. You can PM me or email [email protected].
